Beavertails, HIABs & Low Loaders
A beavertail vehicle is ideal for moving large equipment and bulky refuse. It gets its name from its rear loading ramp which folds down very close to the ground, just like a beaver’s tail. The sloping platform body allows machinery, vehicles and plant to be driven or winched onto the truck for transportation.
Our beavertail has a carrying capacity of 14 tonnes.
HIAB is a commonly used term for a lorry mounted crane. By using these types of vehicles on site it often removes the need for forklifts or mobile cranes to be present, reducing costs for the customer.
Our HIAB has a reach of 15 meters and can lift a maximum of 3.5 tonnes.
All our drivers are CITB trained and have many years of experience working with heavy loads and specialist haulage.
